Just how important is it to balance the pH (power of Hydrogen) in your skin?

Science shows that each time you wash your skin, the balance of acidity in your skin is greatly reduced. While it might sound like a good idea to get rid of acid altogether on your face, the fact is that reducing the acid level of your skin increases the risk of exposing your skin to the “bad” bacteria which may cause acne.

In addition, low levels of acid causing you can cause your skin to become over-dried. Using a pH balanced cleanser and toner after washing your skin helps to restore the acid balance of your skin as the pH balance is easily and quickly achieved using the correct products. Bottom line, if you want your face to look pHabulous, pay attention to the pH balance of your skin!
