3 Daily Habits for a Healthy Mindset As You Go Back To School

Calling all students, teachers, parents and families! It’s that time of year again! Time for fresh college-ruled notebooks, planners, and that killer first-day-of-school fit. This has been a challenging year to say the least, but now that you’re getting ready to get back in the swing of things… here's our top 3 daily habits for a healthy mindset! 

1. It’s all in the routine, Bella! 

There’s nothing worse than waking up and having to rush to get ready. Our first tidbit of advice is to give yourself some time to adjust when you open your beautiful eyes and start the day. Wake up, and take time to do something to center yourself. We know what you’re thinking… “UM. Time to hit SNOOZE”. Trust us—we get it, beauty rest is IMPORTANT, but even something as simple as meditating for 3 minutes can totally change the course of your day. If meditating isn’t for you, try reading a few pages of your fav book, using a gratitude journal, or doing a 15 minute workout (if that’s your vibe). Whatever you do, make sure you take a sec to check in with YOU. Brush your teeth, do your skincare routine, throw on some light makeup, and make sure you eat a nourishing breakfast (it’s the most important meal of the day!). 

2. You create your reality, Chella Bella!

 Keeping a manifestation or goal journal will help you set intentions (see this link for inspo). When you write down your dreams & goals, you are altering your reality and totally changing your mindset. With a positive mindset and clear intentions, you will be truly unstoppable and ready to make the grade this school year! 

3. Grind...then UNWIND.

After that long, hard day of school, homework, extracurriculars, and social is so so so important to take the time to unwind. Set 30 minutes aside each night to just be with yourself and take care of yourself! Watch your fav TV show, read your fav book, or (our personal favorite) do your skincare routine!
